|Ground Resistance Testing is required by all Carriers on any newly constructed sites and on some modified sites. The ground
test is a measurement of the ability of the earth surrounding the antenna site to absorb an electrical surge or spike that could
damage the RF equipment. A proper ground resistance test is conducted in 3 Pole Fall Of Potential mode with the results
recorded in Ohms.
We conduct ground resistance tests at 100 ft, 80 ft, 60 ft, 40 ft and 20 ft from the installed grounding system. A Fall Of
Potential report is produced showing all test data recorded at each location along with a progressive graph allowing for an overall
picture of the collective data. The information collected in this test helps the engineers determine the need for remedial action if
